In the United States, over 17,000 people are treated each year for illness or injuries related to combustible (methane or propane) gas leaks or explosions, or carbon monoxide poisonings, and over 2500 people die from these causes. We need to spread awareness about a combination carbon monoxide/combustible gas detector. This inexpensive, easy to use device, can and will saves lives. Every home or business that uses combustible gas should have one. They are reasonably priced around $50, and can be purchased at home improvement stores or online.
